Our forklift training covers everything you will need to know to become a certified forklift operator, recognized by OSHA.
- Training consist of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive computer learning, video tape, written material), and practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee) and evaluation of the operator's performance in the workplace.
- All operator training and evaluation is conducted by certified operators who have the knowledge, training and experience to train powered industrial truck operators and evaluate their competence.
- Our Training program meets or exceeds OSHA standards.
IMPORTANT WARNING #1: Next year, over 100,000 injuries involving forklifts will be reported and 100 workers will lose their lives. Don’t become one of them.
IMPORTANT WARNING #2: OSHA can impose a $7,000 fine for each untrained operator (up to $70,000 fine for willful violations).It is mandatory that all forklift operators be trained.
*If the employee was hired after July 15, 2000, the initial training and evaluation of that employee must be completed before the employee is assigned to operate a powered industrial truck.
*An evaluation of each powered industrial truck operator's performance shall be conducted at least once every three years.
